Hello,

My name is Anton Kozyrev and I'm glad to see you here!

I'm 25 years old. At age 19 (May 2004) I came to the United States from Russia absolutely alone as an International Student Work Experience exchange program participant to sharp my English and Management skills. I was supposed to work just till the end of the summer at ValleyFair Amusement Park and come back to Russia. But after working as a Team Leader for 3 months I decided to try to find opportunities for achievements of my educational and career goals in this country. So I took a two year break in my Russian State University and entered at Century College, MN, pursuing Marketing degree.

I’ve chosen Marketing major at Century for two reasons. The first is that back that time I wasn’t really sure if I was going to stay here longer than two years; second is that my major in Russian University was International Business, but to make it a little more specialized I should chose the field I was going to work internationally, so I’ve chosen marketing, mostly because I have a real passion to it and clear understanding of the subject. Moreover, I had some working and internship experience at this field back in Russia. After two semesters passed at Century College, I realized a lot of opportunities in front of me the educational and career as well. I have transferred to Metropolitan State University, MN from my Russian University in order to complete my bachelor degree in International Business, meanwhile continuing my college degree as well. I was quite upset with the evaluation results of my Russian credits. Most of the subjects were transferred only by half credit (like if I had completed only half of the subject). Ofcause I understood that nobody was going to give me a bachelor degree for free, but still I don’t think it was fair evaluation though. That’s why I have included the scanned copy of my transcripts on this page so you can check up on what subjects I have studied to have the idea what skills I have.

After graduation, for the past 3 years I developed and sharpen my management and marketing skills by working in media production business, international trading and office administration. (See my resume).
